Macquarie Capital (MacCap) is the operating group of Macquarie Group Limited that provides institutional financial advisory services, mergers and acquisitions (MA) advice and equity and debt capital markets advice and underwriting. An important part of MacCap's business is investment in, and management of, operating businesses. This investment may be either alongside our clients or stand alone. Currently MacCap has over A$2.0 billion invested in over 20 operating businesses in over 7 countries.

We seek an Operational Risk Executive to assist and ensure that MacCap monitors, manages and proactively anticipates risks we face in our professional services and Principal Investments business areas.

Your commercial approach and ability to build relationships at all levels will allow you to work and interact with a wide range of business partners increasing awareness of operational risks and controls whilst also assisting them with obtaining internal approvals for the implementation of new activities in an appropriately controlled manner.

Your key responsibilities will include;

Tertiary qualified your background could include operational risk, assurance, audit or finance within a 'Big 4' firm, consultancy, financial services or investment banking organisation preferred, but not essential. Relevant post graduate qualifications (CA/CPA) regarded favourably.
