Operational Risk / Internal Control Analyst recruitment
The successful candidate should be degree qualified or similar with a background of Internal Control and Operational Risk with professional experience operating in a complex environment within a financial services organisation.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Ability to work to tight timescales within an operational. environment, delivering reliable assessments that can be used to support risk informed decision making within the organisation.
- Perform review, identification and analysis of operational risks through analysis of existing and proposed processes.
- Assist in the risk and control assessment process.
- Overview and analysis of KRIs across the business.
- Input data in the existing risk management in-house system.
- The candidate will have to deal with stakeholders, and so stakeholder management is essential to this role.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Ability to learn new approaches and knowledge quickly.
- Mindful of deadlines and targets and take steps to assure. deadlines for the team are met.
- Experience of operational risk management with knowledge. and practical application of tools/techniques for identifying, assessing and monitoring operational risk.
- Knowledge of banking industry and operations.
- Good IT skills.
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
- Spoken and written Spanish but NOT essential.
