Operational Risk Management (ORM) Analyst recruitment
Role Responsibilities:
*Support management in the ongoing review of business controls for new Algos.
*Support the development of an ongoing Algo monitoring framework and implement changes.
*Prepare inputs to/outputs from monthly Algo Trading Oversight Committee weekly sub-committee meetings.
*Support the OR (Operational Risk) Framework deliverables and development.
*Analyse Key Risk Indicator and Self Assessment movements.
*Report on OR capital drivers
*Support the relevant OR loss data
*To support Operational Risk teams in Frankfurt, London and Mumbai
*Projects around operational risk and supervision, including refinement of existing processes within DB.
Requirements:
*Must have strong academic background through relevant undergraduate studies
*A financial services background with at least 2 years' experience
*Good understanding of Operational Risk standards and tools including experience of working with Operational Risk KRI drivers, performance metrics, and multiple data sets.
*Advanced in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
*Experience of handling projects independently i.e. strong Project Management skills/experience.
*Ability to work well under pressure always with a professional demeanour
*The ability to identify process efficiencies, suggest improvements and implement where feasible.
*Good analytical skills, high attention to detail, solid organisational and interpersonal skills.
*Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience of reporting to senior management.
*Proactive in terms business development and to effectively communicate to deliver projects.
*Able to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritising multiple tasks meeting strict deadlines.
The following will be considered a significant advantage:
*IT systems experience, i.e. creating reviewing technical specs required for system implementation.
*PRINCE2 or equivalent PM background
*Prior work experience in sales and trading and understanding of Algorithmic Trading is a plus.
*Should be conversant with terminologies concepts relating to Front Office products (e.g. Equities Trading, Foreign Exchange, Rates, Distressed Products, Emerging Markets, Prime Brokerage, Commodities).
