Operational Risk Management Executive – Financial Services
The asset management division of a large diversified financial services firm seeks a Senior level Risk Management professional.
He/she will serve as a risk management executive for this well known money management division.
He/she will be responsible for implementing and directing the risk management framework including Risk and Control Self-Assessments, key risk indicators, risk reporting, escalating operational risk events, money market fund net asset value escalation, money market fund stress testing, and reconcilement monitoring.
The Risk Management professional will advise management on the risks of new products, new processes, new business acceptance, and new strategic initiatives.
He/she will analyze and implement new controls when appropriate, supports due diligence processes, and meet with clients and prospects to describe the firms risk management processes.
The Risk professional will also coordinate responses to Corporate Risk initiatives, scenario analyses, and certain regulatory inquiries and examinations.
The candidate should have extensive asset management, mutual fund, and money market related risk experience.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree (business, finance, economics) required.
- Graduate Degree (business, finance, economics) preferred.
- Minimum fifteen years directly relevant work experience, including at least 10 years in a senior risk management, asset management, or operations role.
