Operational Risk Manager – Asset Management’ recruitment
The position will sit within the Risk Compliance function and will involve working very closely with the Head of the department.
Responsibilities include:
Liaise with staff and management at all levels in relation to risk management and the business environment
Analyse emerging risks as a result of internal change and external events, ensuring process maps and procedure manuals are updated where necessary
Reporting loss-events and near miss incidents, liaise with relevant departments where necessary to determine the root cause and evaluate the business risk arising from such incidents.
Devise and recommend process and control improvements to reduce operational risk
Undertake adhoc business risk reviews as required, advising on business processes, incident history and risk trends
The successful candidate should have:
Strong experience in the investment/fund management industry
Demonstrable experience in risk and control function, ideally within an Operational Risk team
Experience with setting up and implementing a risk management framework
The ability to work closely with Senior Management
A commercial outlook, with the motivation and drive to be successful in a competitive industry
