Operational Risk Manager – VP Level – Global Banking Giant recruitment
The Operational Risk Manager will oversee and assist senior management to identify, quantify and manage operational risk. This is a front-to-back role which will require the jobholder to engage in key change management initiatives to ensure that operational risk exposures are considered and addressed. The incumbent will perform independent reviews, provide assurance that key controls are designed and operating effectively and liaise and work with optional risk colleagues across Asia Pacific and the Americas as a key member of the global team.
Applicants will need to be degree holders with at least 8 years experience with extensive exposure to the fund management, wealth management, asset management, custody and/or trust services industries. The ideal candidate will have well rounded fund management experience and a solid understanding of fund performance, valuation and analyst. Candidates with business experience, or experience in areas other than just purely operational risk are preferred. Applicants will need to demonstrate a solid understanding of advanced operational risk frameworks and have a firm understanding of the control environment surrounding, fund management, fund administration and custody, project management skills would be a plus.
