The Company
An outstanding opportunity exists for an experienced Operational Risk manager to join their dynamic team and support the Head of Operational Risk in providing assurance on the effectiveness of Operational Risk within the business.
The Role
- Planning and executing Operational Risk assurance assignments;
- Liaising with the business and advice in relation to the business risks;
- Maintaining and improving robust Operational Risk frameworks in accordance with the regulatory standards that applies to the business;
- Business Continuity Management;
- Providing ongoing advice and assurance to the Board on risk management using a combination of enterprise risk register updates, process level risk reviews, KRIs etc;
- Liaising with key stakeholders across the business to implement change;
- Reviewing, implementing and carrying out SOX testing across the banking business; and
- Assisting in ad-hoc projects as required
Your Profile
The successful candidate will be a degree holder in Law, Accounting, Finance or related disciplines. You will have a strong understanding of the operational risk environment and framework. You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a financial institution in operational risk or a related discipline. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in English and Cantonese a must, ability to speak other languages is a plus.
