Operational Risk Manager, Banking recruitment
The Company
A highly respected Banking organization is seeking an experienced operational risk manager to join their Group Operational Risk function. Our client is a well known for providing long term career paths for talented individuals. You will be responsible for the operational risk embedment in various business lines of the bank.
The Role
- Assisting in enhancing and embedding the operational risk framework in accordance with the regulatory standards across different business units;
- Reviewing and challenging to ensure achievement of Risk Control Self Assessment (RCSA) minimum standards (e.g. KRI, BCP);
- Assisting with drafting new policies and processes;
- Conducting review and gap analysis of current business risk practices;
- On-going reviewing and risk monitoring;
- Preparing the risk reporting and incident management reporting; and
- Assisting in ad-hoc projects as required
Your Profile
The successful candidate will be a degree holder in Law, Accounting, Finance or related disciplines. You will have a minimum of 4 years' experience in a financial institution in operational risk or Risk Management worlds. You will have a strong understanding of the operational risk environment and framework. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in English and Cantonese a must, ability to speak other languages is a plus.
