Operational Risk Manager – Capital Markets recruitment
Our client, a leading investment bank, currently seeks a Head of EMEA Operational Risk Manager, to be based in London.
The Head of EMEA Operational Risk Manager, will be part of the Global Operational Risk Management team, and will be responsible for:
-Supporting the Head of Operational Risk Management globally
-Supporting and leading aspects of the operational risk framework
-Development of specific key business relationships within the business
-Providing expert technical input and advice to operational risk framework development and issues
-Providing independent expert advice to the business areas on operational risk issues
-Developing and disseminating communications to the business to raise awareness of operational risk
-Managing, coaching and developing operational risk production / analytics resources
As such, the successful Operational Risk Manager will have the following skills and experience:
-Investment Banking experience
-Management experience (will be managing a small team)
-Happy and able to sit and work within a front office trading floor environment
-In depth Operational Risk experience including frameworks
-Product exposure is ideal, particularly within the Credit / Fixed Income space
