Operational Risk Manager, Corporate and Investment Banking
The bank operate a highly transparent structure across their Singapore and regional offices (Singapore Hong Kong, Shanghai) and it is expected that the successful candidate will undergo a degree of travel between sites. My client would be able to offer you a strong opportunity to make an impact at this bank’s Asian operation whilst raising your professional profile. Responsibilities will include :
- Conducting Risk and Control Self Assessments, whilst providing requisite training to stakeholders across the business
- Identifying and defining Key Risk Indicators.
- Auditing plans for remedial action
- Working with stakeholders at source (including sales and trading staff) to improve efficiency of tackling operational risk incidents
- Assisting in the preparation of risk reports to management,
- Liaising with global sites outside of Asia, including London
- Helping to promote a culture of awareness of operational risks
Skills Required :
- Operational Risk experience within the Corporate or Investment Banking sector is essential
- Exposure to Commodities and or Fixed Income products is essential
- Knowledge of Trade Financing would be beneficial
- Due to my client’s medium sized set up, strong communication skills and adaptability.
- Ability to work in a wider team is essential
