Operational Risk Manager – Distribution recruitment
Our client is a leading international financial services player and is currently looking for a risk professional willing to drive a new approach to risk management. This is an ideal opportunity for a chartered accountant looking to their first step into financial services or a risk manager looking for increased stakeholder exposure. As the Operational Risk Manager you will get involved in the following functions;
- Report control effectiveness and coach the business on process improvements
- Analyse, collate and report systemic issues
- Provide an independent assessment of the risks inherent in material change
- Liaise with key stakeholders to drive improved key risk processes
- Run awareness activities such as workshops and risk presentations and foster an effective risk culture across the business.
As the Operational Risk Manager within this well regarded organisation you will have at least 4 years experience within Audit or assurance. To be successful in this role you will demonstrate commercial acumen and take a pragmatic approach to risk management. This role is a fabulous introduction into the rapidly changing industry of distribution and retail banking.
