Operational Risk Manager, EMEA (Investment Bank) recruitment

Operational Risk Management’s (ORM) mission is to support the firm's business objectives and client service by helping to identify measure and manage operational risk exposures and client service failures by:

Promoting an internal control culture that encourages the proactive identification and management of risks through the establishment and communication of operational risk management standards, tools and reporting;

Leading the development of operational risk measurement methodology, which includes operational Risk Event capture, Key Risk Indicators, Risk Control Assessment, process improvement and the enhancement of the firm's understanding of risk;

This role has a strong relationship management aspect so it is critical that someone is strong at developing meaningful relationships with stakeholders across the business.

You will have a minimun of 5 years Operational Risk Experience gained within an Investment Bank where you will have had exposure to products such as: Fixed Income, Equities and Rates.  You will also need to be able to operate in a role which covers the EMEA region so strong communiction skills are essential.

Strong academics including a minimum of a 2:1 degree are a pre-requisite to be cosidered, as is solid tenure in a reputable Investment Bank, preferably Tier 1.
