$110,000 - $130,000 + super + bonus (pro rata)
My client is leading financial services organisation looking to further strengthen there operational risk frameworks and policies by adding further talent to the function with the view to further add value to the Insurance business.
This role is a group role so will offer wide coverage across the organisation and the opportunity to act as a true advisor and influence a number of senior stakeholders across the business
Key areas of focus will be
- Analysing, designing and building operational risk documents, policies and procedures
- Operational Risk Management
- Senior stakeholder management and exposure
- Review and interpret Group Policy, Framework and Standards and ensure all documentation is in alignment
- Review, re-write and develop documentation, life cycle process flows and working templates for: Event Management, Control Management, Risks Managements and Risk Reporting according to Optimisation Plan
- Collate Operational Risk manual with fit for purpose and audience sections to be utilized Design, develop and implement process flows and procedures for CRO to conduct oversight activities in Control Management, Event Management, Risks Management
- Development and implementation of best practice documentation within the 1st and 2nd line of Defence including process flows, working templates and operating guidelines.
- Review and interpret Group Policy, Framework and Standards as it relates to Operational Risk and ensure alignment of documentation
- Re-develop/develop and implement an Operational Risk Reporting suite
- Collaborate with support Groups to develop and deliver/facilitate training and manage content.
- Manage the transition to business as usual for multiple risk processes under the Optimisation Program.
- Provide consultancy and issue resolution support for Assurance and Audit reviews.
- Provide consultancy and support to operational risk related projects and initiatives
Ideal background
- Previous role/s within financial services where you have been responsible for interpreting policies, developing Operations and Group level best practice working documents/templates/process flows/ reporting that align with ERMF/ORMF/Compliance and linkage frameworks.
- Worked in an Operational risk capacity - Insurance, Wealth Management, Retail, Institutional banking.
- Strong process management background.
