My client, one of the leading brand names in investment management, is currently looking for an Operational Risk professional with specific experience and knowledge of Capital Adequacy and Scenario Analysis.
The role will be charged with owning the ICAAP document for the Group, working closely with other Risk teams and the Finance function. As part of the ICAAP responsibility, there are new systems to be implemented to support the production process, which this role will oversee and ultimately be responsible for. This position will also lead on developing and implementing stress test scenarios and the Group’s capital planning stress test model. An exciting and proactive role, this position will also be responsible for looking at potential emerging risks. This will involve studying market conditions, the behaviour of competitors clients, and regulatory changes.
The right candidate will have graduated with a high quality (2:1 or above) degree from a top tier UK University, before building a career in Risk Management in Financial Services, ideally within an Investment Management organisation or for the Regulator (FSA / FCA / PRA). Candidates must also have extensive ICAAP, stress testing and scenario analysis experience, with a proven track record of producing ICAAP documents.
