My client is a leading International Banking Group and they are looking to add an Operational Risk Manager to their business. The Operational Risk Manager will be focused on the Global HR business of the Group ensuring the HR function adhere to the standards and procedures set by the Groups Operational Risk Management team.
The HR function is a complex area and requires an individual with an understanding of operational risk management as well as knowledge of Information Security. You will need to be able to demonstrate you are a strong problem solver and have an autonomous approach to your work.
Desired experience and skills;
Operational Risk and / or Information Security background
Experience working in a Global Business or related support function
Knowledge of operational and information security risk, in particular of Operational Loss event management and analysis, reporting and root cause analysis; and of current initiatives on Information classification, security, EUC controls and email encryption technologies
Understanding of the controls required within an HR function
Excellent team-working and communication skills within team and across wider HR function
Ability to deal with a complex and at times ambiguous environment
Confident and clear communicator (both written and verbal)
Project management, consulting or advisory experience
Understanding of key regulatory requirements impacting the HR function
Experience in supporting internal audits and managing risk assessments
People Management experience
