Operational Risk Manager recruitment

You will lead the Singapore ORM function, as a senior Regional APAC Operational Risk practicing professional and lead the efforts in all areas activities related to processes and policies, as part of the  Wealth Management business.

You'll be responsible for control environment management covering operational risk management  and be responsible for identifying, measuring, controlling and monitoring the operational risk.

You will be be involved in conducting process reviews improvement initiatives to mitigate risks, coordinate the new product approvals, tracking OR metrics, coordination on internal external reviews, and participate on cross functional COO projects initiatives.

Reporting directly to the APAC regional business risk head, you'll lead a strong team supporting

the wealth management business in Asia Pacific and have the opportunity to learn and contribute to WMs growth in the Wealth Management space. This is a Regional role , also covering onshore countries in APAC, on relevant ORM matters.       

Experience required :

•  A minimum of 10 years experience in a Private Bank, within an operational risk or operations control arena

• Analytical mindset to review processes products and identify potential risks mitigants. Aptitude to balance the risks and business objectives

• Strong team player with multi-tasking and sound  communication skills as the assignment involves interfacing with stakeholders across the Bank, including senior management.

Strong teamplayer with an aptitude to work in teams  attitude for control, compliance and discipline.

Risk, controls and compliance focussed , with a 'balanced' approach and Analytical thinking ability.

Development opportunities :

Exposure to the wealth management business, products services and opportunity to work closely with WM senior management, development opportunities such as external and internal training.

Operations risk management is a key area and as such there would be opportunities to learn / contribute in other functional departments.
