Operational Risk Manager – Top Insurer– Singapore recruitment
A leading Insurer in is seeking an Operational Risk Manager to co-drive the development and implementation of the Risk Management framework, policies and standards at the corporate level.
This is an excellent opportunity with the scope and visibility to strategically influence the direction of the institution. This is a highly visible role and you will be remunerated up to a total package of S$130,000.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor insurance risk related appetites, limits and requirements with the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Strategic Risk Framework
- Ensure implementation of risk review processes and tools (KRIs Key Risk Indicators), loss event reporting and control self-assessments
- Manage all escalation and management of risk issues
- Identify potential issues, assess effectiveness of controls, interact with stakeholders and provide recommendations to close gaps
- Promote risk awareness across the organization
Ideal Candidate:
- 5-10 years of relevant experience
- Candidates who have hands on experience in the Singapore market would be desirable
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills as you will be interacting with senior management
- Excellent hands on experience with implementing risk management framework within the Insurance or Banking industry
