Operational Risk Partner
Working for a Edinburgh City Centre based Financial Services company, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying and managing operational risks within the organisation's IT function. Although specialist IT knowledge is not essential, experience of working in Financial Services, within an Operational Risk capacity is essential.
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to add value and mitigate risk. This position requires extensive communication with Senior stakeholders across the IT function, and the ability to challenge existing risk procedures, and embed effective controls across the business.
Key accountabilities:
Identifying and reporting on risks across the business
undertaking deep-dive risk assessments in conjunction with business stakeholders
Implementing and embedding effective risk controls across the business
Working collaboratively with other risk divisions and Internal Audit
Mentoring and training of junior Risk Analysts
Ensuring the ongoing adherence to Risk protocol, with a firm focus on continuous improvement from a risk perspective
