Operational Risk Project Manager recruitment
A major global bank is looking for an Operational Risk Project Manager. The Operational Risk Project Manager will join a highly visible and complex Operational Risk Function tasked with delivering significant change over the next 18 months. Applicants should have previous experience in Banking Operational Risk (Change or BAU), wider Risk Change or Risk Operations, however must be able to show significant experience of leading and delivering the requirements of a Workstream or Project.
Key Responsibilities
• Accountable for quality end-to-end delivery of Operational Risk projects, actively managing their execution.
• Co-ordinate project support services (e.g. status reporting, issue, risk and dependency management, resource planning, financial control etc.)
• Responsible for project planning and managing progress through accurate and timely project reporting, aggregating information to support effective decision making at all levels
Essential Experience
• Ability to manage a number of business analyst/project resource and influence substantially more across the organisation
• Understanding of Operational Risk Control frameworks with a track record of delivery in this area
• Experience of Operational Risk reporting and processes
• Writing and reviewing business and functional specifications
• Team/person leading experience
• Ability to liaise with business teams (Operational Risk Relationship Managers, Business/function heads IT development teams)
• Ability to chair meetings and prepare documentations
