This leading Australian based organisation is a high profile group who are constantly evolving. With over $70 billion under management this high profile fund manager has exposure across a number of asset classes. Working with companies that are leaders in their fields this organisation is constantly looking at how it can improve both it's delivery and it's risk culture.
About the Role:
- This role, will work closely with, but autonomously from the Manager of Operational Risk, and look initially at the risk processes and methodologies around the BAU operations team and the processes around the outsourced activities
- The improvement and creation of risk frameworks around the day to day operations and out sourcing
- Carry out and document risk assessment, and monitor the risk impacts on an on going basis
- Build relationships and manage with key stakeholders both internally and externally
- Provide innovative solutions to operational risk issues and be willing to challenge the status quo where appropriate
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Proven operational risk experience, ideally within an investment management or banking environment
- Created risk frameworks, risk assessments and designed monitoring activities
- Worked across a variety of stakeholders, including board level and external service providers
