Strong academics (a degree with quantitative/economics or business discipline. An Accountancy/finance qualification) and experience from industry or consulting.

This experience should comprise of an impressive track record in operational risk, with one of more of the following:

Implementing and embedding an operational risk management framework

Implementing and embedding a target operating model for operational / enterprise risk management

Measurement of operational risk

Selection and implementation of tools to support operational risk management

LEAN or process improvement skills

Experience in the financial services sector, within capital markets, retails commercial banking or insurance is vital.
