Operational Risk Team Leads – Banking
18 month Contract

Our client, who is a leader in the banking industry is looking to employ a number of excellent candidates with solid background in Operational Risk.
You will be require to be an integral part of a project to perform a system integration using lean sigma and engineering methods, in order to develop a prototype operational risk management system for a financial institution
The candidates will be required to demonstrate the following:
- Numerate background with technical degree at least Bachelors level (engineering, maths, science, numerate business studies).
- Very sound understanding of the principles behind Six Sigma and lean and an ability to translate into business language for non-specialists, while at the same time delivering on all the technical requirements.
- A demonstrated capability to execute large complex lean-six sigma projects to successful conclusion.
- Experienced in running “end to end” lean initiatives particularly in the transactional process world.
- Ability to execute under pressure to short deadlines ( intra-day, next day)
- Be a self-starter
- Demonstrated in depth knowledge in their subject matter areas as outlined below.
- Demonstrated problem solvers – willing to take the lead in working solutions to “non-standard” problems with “messy” data.
- Comfortable working with complex data structures
- Experienced in applying Lean Six sigma within processes with significant random content.
- Comfortable learning new tools “on the job” to meet technical objectives.
- Comfortable working within team of technical peers.
- Will be required to train other team members in basic skills in order to meet aggressive programme milestones
