Operational Tax Manager/London/£65-70k
Leading Asset Manager is currently searching for an experienced Tax Manager to join their team. This role reports directly to the Head of Tax and sits within the Fund Accounting desk which is responsible for a broad range of funds. This is a very hands on position and involves working in the reporting team focusing on the maintenance of all UK Fund operational taxes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the operational tax working group and own the operational tax issue register and implement appropriate controls to ensure accurate accounting.
- Provide technical tax accounting support and training to the fund accounting team and advising of industry and regulatory tax changes.
- Take responsibility for monitoring and identifying the reporting status of offshore fund holdings
- Development, implementation and documentation of fund accounting operational tax procedures.
Requirements:
- Strong technical knowledge of UK Fund Operational taxes.
- Proven people management skills.
- Ideally Qualified accountant but not essential.
- Previous experience in Asset/Investment Management in a similar role.
