Operations – Business Manager (VP) recruitment
Our client is a Global Investment Bank with strong presence in Singapore and currently looking to hire an experienced Business Manager to join their APAC Operations team. This team supports the Middle Back Office functions in the region across a few locations. It also provides certain administrative services to Operations Globally
- Strong experience in Business Management in Operations
- Demonstrated knowledge in Financial Management including Forecast and Budget exercises
- Good working knowledge of Sharepoint
The Position
- You will be in charge of the Business Management Team
- Some of the responsibilities would include
- Financial Management Administration
- Tracking expenses against budget, facilitate periodic forecast/projection for the year and partner Finance in managing Forecast, Actual Budgets
- Resource Management Administration
- Account for number of resources in Asia Pacific Operations and track movement of resource types
- Communication Strategy
- Prepare presentation materials for major events such as townhalls, senior visitors from overseas and announcements and working with multiple teams in Operations
- Human Resource Administration
- Manage annual leave process including compliance of Mandatory Block Leave and semi annual appraisal process
The Candidate
- MUST have more than 7 years of working experience in an Investment Bank
- Knowledge in financial management – forecast and budget exercises, expense tracking and approval
- Experienced with resource management
- Strong communication skills
- Working knowledge of Sharepoint
- Advance user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Organized and effective in multi-tasking
