Operations Administrator recruitment
Maze Executive is currently working with a global financial services house based in the North West. Our client is currently searching the market for an operations administrator to join their team on a three month rolling contract which is likely to extend.
Main responsibilities include:
Undertaking all aspects of administration relating to Account Opening, transfer of stock, Fee administration, ISA administration, client reporting, Cash administration and Press searches. This involves the use of internal IT systems.
Checking that all the information required to process is available and correct, and if not chasing up any items that are missing.
Adopting a high quality culture to minimise error, ensuring quality service levels and high standards are delivered.
The transfer of client assets. Associated activities revolve around; checking holdings with registrars and unit trust manages, obtaining replacements for invalid share certificates, preparing Stock Transfer Forms and Transfer Forms on the clients’ behalf. Instructing trade and settlement dates holdings and instructing Off-Market transfers for certificated stocks
Monitoring for the arrival of expected transferring assets, chasing third parties where required
Assisting in project initiatives within the operations department
Successful candidates will have the following:
Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt conversation to suit any level within the organisation.
The ability to work well within a team but also be comfortable working as an individual.
Experience in a previous role requiring interaction across multiple areas of an organisation.
Previous experience in the financial services industry especially with transfers (preferable).
