OPERATIONS ANALYST 2

This position is located in the Bonus Commission Accounting department within Retail Finance. The qualified candidate will be responsible for providing customer service, able to create partnerships, and advise field managers about compensation related issues, including payroll by supporting our customer service line as well as through e-mail. This position must be able to have a complete understanding of how our compensation plans work and understand all loan types input into LIS/LPS as well as all programs associated with those loan types. This position must be the intermediary between field managers and other business lines. There is auditing of all commission exceptions, input data, and doing monthly reporting from that data. Must be able to interpret, research, and resolve compensation related issues and adhere to company policies. There will be processing of miscellaneous pay requests, including but not limited to adjustments to commission pay, management salary, and all other requests as needed. Ability to generate reports as well as database input. Must be able to work in a very fast paced environment with multiple deadlines. Basic Qualifications: 2+ years of operations experience. Minimum Qualifications: Ability to research, compile, and perform basic analysis on operational data. Independently provides basic summary of operational data. Possesses basic troubleshooting and resolution skills. Has good reporting skills. - 2+ years experience in customer contact roles. - 1+ years experience working escalated customer issues. - Partner with resources to ensure project tasks are completed and delivered within established deadlines. - Demonstrated experience in strong written and verbal communication skills. - High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work in a high volume fast paced environment and deliver results within tight timelines. - Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. - Ability to work independently or with a team with a proven track record while managing multiple priorities in a tight turn around time. - Ability to counsel customers in order to match solution to need. - Ability to identify best practices and implement appropriate change. - High initiative. - Strong customer focus. - Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (Excel, Word, Access, etc.). Preferred Skills: - Associate degree or higher with course of study in Accounting, Business or Finance. - Experience in the mortgage industry. - Advanced PC skills including working knowledge of Excel and Access. - Experience with mortgage commission/compensation plans. - Commission background.
