Operations Analyst/Fund Accountant recruitment
This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to work in a fast moving and dynamic environment and requires a proactive and ambitious attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the NAV sign off a number of funds
- Trade booking, settlement and confirmation
- Check and maintain the PL records of the funds
- Management of relationship with the Administrators
- Sit on valuation committee for the funds
- Involvement in the broader operations process
- Compliance: taking on administrative side of compliance role including liaison with compliance consultants etc.
- Assisting with various projects and other ad-hoc tasks
Skills requirements:
- Graduate from a finance related degree, possibly a part qualified accountant
- Hedge fund and/or fund administration experience seen as essential
- Clear understanding of trade flow from initial order giving through to settlement
- Good organisational and communication skills both written and oral
- Ability to work accurately under pressure of tight deadlines
- Ability to prioritise tasks and remain calm under pressure
- Enthusiastic and energetic team player
