Based within the Fixed Income Department of a top-tier Investment Bank, this is an opportunity to coordinate and lead clearing and regulatory initiatives in Asia.
Working closely with the reciprocal teams in EMEA and the US, Asia Operations SMEs and Technology you will review and analyse any related regulations to understand the impact or potential risk to the business. You will establish and manage projects to ensure compliance with OTC regulatory and clearing requirements and work with IT to drive the development of supporting systems and infrastructure. Working with senior managers you will develop new target operating models and delivery plans as required. Communicating changes, plans and tracking issues across impacted divisions will be crucial.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- 3 to 10 years Investment Banking experience including Middle Office
- Graduate calibre or equivalent
- Business Analysis and Project Management skills essential, can be gained from BAU process improvements or dedicated project role
- Experience facing MD/C level stakeholders and able to build strong relationships
- Ability to influence and negotiate
- Strong Derivatives product knowledge, ideally across Credit and Rates
- Knowledge of Central Clearing, Dodd Frank and/or other regulatory requirements highly desired
- Excellent communication skills, fluency in English essential, Mandarin beneficial
- Able to work independently without direct supervision
