Operations Application – Retail Banking – Senior Consultant recruitment

The projects you'll work on will be complex and challenging, focusing on the technology  and operations strategy and systems of large financial services firms. Key Responsibilities:

•Support deliver successful implementations and projects  in either ;

•Retail Banking  processes , reporting  systems knowledge  around  one or more product areas;  savings, PCA, mortgages, cards , loans ,credit risk , payments etc

•Wholesale banking  processes, reporting and systems to support cash management, commercial loans, trade finance etc

•Private banking processes, reporting and systems

•Build effective and collaborative alliances with  IT, operations, risk, treasury and finance stakeholders to enable timely delivery of quality outputs

•Support  End to End testing processes for core banking/ ERP systems

•Demonstrate ability to build effective networks and communicate relevance of the Operations proposition to banking clients, and support growth in OA banking

•Experience of working  on large Banking  technology implementations and integration projects from business perspective with knowledge requirements gathering and process definition

•Working with a team to implement  agreed solutions to quality and timescales

•Support pre-sales, bid development and client sales presentations

Personal Attributes:

•At least 4+ years hands on Banking process and technology change experience

•Been part of at least two project lifecycles, preferable from scoping and planning through to post go live support.

•Taken part in a detailed business process analysis project ('As Is' definition) and provided recommendations for the future process.

•Comprehensive business and process knowledge across Retail Banking products

•Knowledge of banking applications

•Ability to demonstrate an understanding of complex transactions and related configuration options

•Excellent communication client management skills.

•Knowledge and experience of banking controls and reports, such as regulatory , statutory  and management
