Operations Associate recruitment
The Operations Associate will also provide oversight of our outsource provider, BNY Mellon Asset Servicing. The Associate will work closely with various key members of the firm including Portfolio Managers, Traders, Compliance, Research and our Marketing/Client Service Officers to ensure timely and accurate deliverables to our end clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform all firm-wide aspects of GIPS composite construction and maintenance, performance calculations and serve as the lead to the Company’s GIPS Composite committee which includes the coordination and gathering of supporting data and performance analysis.
- Provide oversight and leadership with regard to the investment accounting function performed by the firms back-office outsource provider, BNY Mellon Asset Servicing.
- Responsible for gathering, validating, supporting, and amending descriptive reference/market data as it pertains to the daily maintenance of the firms Security Master.
- Review and distribute corporate action related information to investment teams and the subsequent processing of corporate action position impacting transactions within the firms trade/order management system, BlackRock Aladdin Enterprise System.
- Perform daily and monthly pricing function to ensure complete and accurate pricing of underlying security positions in accordance with the firms pricing policy and procedures.
- Other responsibilities include daily futures variation margin notifications, collateral management and assisting with the trade confirmation and settlement process.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 3-6 years of Fixed Income Operations experience required.
- Good understanding and knowledge of all Fixed Income asset types preferred.
- Motivation to be proactive and use initiative to drive continuous operational efficiencies.
- Excellent communication skills to interface with internal partners as well as Custodians and vendors
- Strong problem solving skills the ability to multitask during the issue resolution process.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fundamental knowledge of investment accounting a plus
- BlackRock Aladdin Enterprise System and/or Factset SPAR/GIPS Vault experience a plus
