Operations Associate VBA Macros/Reconciliations/Hong Kong
A Top Tier financial institution, serving individual consumers, small and middle market businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk-management products and services is looking to expand their Global Markets Division. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join as an Operations Associate in Hong Kong in their Global Markets Operations team.
Responsibilities:
Manage the full processing cycle of bond trades and collaterals which includes communication, booking, confirmation, reconciliation and settlement
Communicate with clients or counterparts regarding margin call, collateral exchange and settlement governed by designated collateral agreement entered between the two parties.
Effectively communicate with FO, MO, head office, BO in Asia satellites and other supporting functions within the Bank where necessary to ensure concerned parties are well informed and involved in the proper management of related issues
Conduct study, investigation or other ad-hoc assignments as directed by the team head
Provide feedback to team head on resource allocation and optimization.
Skills required:
Must have strong Cash Equity knowledge.
Strong VBA Macro editing and writing skills necessary.
2-3 years experience within banking or financial services, specific experience in Fixed Income markets is needed.
University Degree.
Excellent communication skills necessary.
