Operations AVP, Guangzhou – EFNC/CN75704/BRZH recruitment
Main responsibilities
• Manages an operations unit of the company's operations activities, and report to a group operations manager.
• Possesses strong technical knowledge in trade products with excellent all round experience in trade operations.
• Requires thorough operations knowledge of specific products/ services line managed, usually gained through operations experience.
• Oversees daily activities ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards and adherence to procedures and regulatory requirements (e.g. client inquiries, transaction research).
• Decisions impact multiple product lines, customers, and associates.
• Modifies existing procedures and analyzes and resolves non-routine and/or moderately complex operational problems often requiring research and involvement from other business functional experts.
• Develops and implements new processes/procedures to improve operating efficiency and to ensure timeliness and accuracy of workflow. Identifies service gaps as well as opportunities for process improvements
• Reviews and verifies various kinds of trade documentations and agreements
• Handles ad-hoc projects and performs administrative duties
• Develops training material and assists training to associates
• Forecasts / manages staffing levels and capacities, and responsible for performance management.
• Communicates and coordinates with other departments on daily operations matters.
Requirements
• University graduate, preferably in business administration, banking, finance, related discipline or equivalent experience
• Excellent knowledge in trade products and all-round experience in trade operations, including experience at a managerial level.
• Organizational skills and detailed oriented with high degree of accuracy, self-motivated, willing to work under pressure, and ability to manage a variety of responsibilities and prioritize effectively to meet tight deadlines.
• A strong team player and proven ability to manage a team, have management experience for a group, strong sense of responsibilities and ability to work independently as well as interact effectively with the team
Required Skills

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Cantonese or Mandarin
