Operations Consultant II

Summary:
We are currently seeking an Operations Consultant II to provide support to our Health Care Medical Device Product Supply Department. This position is housed in Roswell, Georgia. This position involves project management of medical device commercialization initiatives, strategic planning, and sustainability support for the K-C Health Care Medical Device Product Supply Team. The incumbent will provide project coordination with line operations, manufacturing sites, RE, Quality, Regulatory, and Marketing teams to facilitate timely collaboration and successful project execution. Technical and system expertise will be required to support project execution, process optimization, and system compliance/ maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide project coordination for strategic and tactical initiatives among the business teams, sector management, staff functional groups, and manufacturing to ensure business results are achieved.
  • Manage data integrity and maintenance of required systems to ensure efficient project execution and compliance.
  • Continually improve existing business processes to enhance project execution success, speed-to-market initiatives, quality, customer-service, and cost.
  • As needed, provide technical support to the manufacturing units to achieve plant objectives in safety, cost, quality, productivity, customer-service, and corporate ethics.

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Logistics/Supply Chain.
  • A minimum of six (6) years of related work experience.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of medical device industry experience.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of demonstrated project related experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience and demonstration of LEAN/Six Sigma Principles.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish.
  • Knowledgeable of SAP manufacturing functions.
