Operations Controls and Risk Management Analyst recruitment

The responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to some or all of the following:
Operations Controls and Risk Management perform a number of risk functions, compliance (Legal and regulatory), control activities, new business growth and operations risk management.
Primarily this role is responsible for the legal and regulatory risk/control functions, working in partnership with the operations business units in an advisory capacity
Job Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to some or all of the following:
• Supports and develops risk reviews and reporting with operations directors
• Implementing cyclical risk review programme across operations
• Planning, reporting and tracking of remediation plans/actions
• Trend and analysis of requirements vs business process and market events
• Reporting and presentation risks/controls/gaps to senior management
• Production and development of internal and external KPI’s/KRI’s
• Point of escalation for control issues within Operations, coordinates and manages centrally investigation and resolution activities
• Maintains operational risk register
• Contributes to planning of business continuity process and procedures relating to areas of responsibility
• Continually monitors processes to ensure that controls are in place and being utilized
• Develops and improves/enhances management reporting for areas of responsibility
• Establishes and maintains appropriate communications within OCRM and with Ops Managers (globally) and with other SEI units appropriate to the role
• Ensures that Client Experience is Superior and adheres to SLA's
• Daily calculation of client money requirements
Required Experiences and Skills
• BA/BS degree preferably in Accounting, Finance or business related field; or the equivalent in education and work experience
• 3-5 years Banking experience in Operations Control and Risk Management products and services
• Risk Controls and Risk review experience is critical
• Problem solving skills
• Understanding of the control, regulatory and risk issues
• Experience of risk assessment, mitigation and remediation
• Strong Organizational and analytical skills
• Strong adaptability and innovative skills
• Excellent decision making skills
• Must be able to write effectively, to analyze and identify root cause issues and develop policies/procedures as the need arises
