Our client, an independent health and safety consultancy providing comprehensive risk

assessment, training and advice across many specialty services are looking for an Operations Coordinator to plan, direct and coordinate the daily operations of the AsbestosS and health Safety Teams and the operations and client services administrators

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Work allocation and diary management

·         Allocate jobs to Consultants for them to book in - Consultants then update their Outlook calendar with dates

·         Track Outlook diaries for dates of booked in work and update operations and invoice spread sheet

·         Ensure the Consultants are fully utilised and meeting monthly targets

·         Rearranging diaries to fit in urgent jobs

·         Forecasting the work that will be invoiced each month for the Finance Manager

·         Looking after the Consultants and speaking to them on a daily basis

·         Booking second man/cherry pickers for Asbestos Surveyors

·         Arranging site access/keys

 

Project management

·         Obtaining quotes from contractors

·         Providing quotes to the client for undertaking the works

·         Sending completion reports

 

Other duties

·         Supporting the Asbestos Director and Senior Consultants

·         Producing and updating various spread sheets for clients and the asbestos division

·         Dealing with client enquiries via email and telephone

 

SKILLS REQUIRED

 

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·         A strong working knowledge of the MS Office packages – Word, Excel and Outlook as well as other programs

·         Previous experience in customer services

·         The ability to work on your own as well as under direction

·         Well organised with great attention to detail
