Operations Coordinator Job in Southwest Houston 77479, Texas Us

Southwest Houston / Fort Bend County area organization is seeking to add an Operations Coordinator to its existing Operations and Production staff.  This privately owned manufacturing company has experienced continued growth and development even through the recent financial down turn and has positioned itself for continued success within their specialized market.  The addition of this position will support that continued mobility. 

In this position the Operations Coordinator will work closely with customer service, manufacturing, quality control, engineering, sales, vendors and shipping on various projects such as job building within the production software. 

General responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Reviewing order status
Assist with processing orders
Building job models
Tracking progress of production
Analyzing factors that affect schedules
Participating in special projects and assignments

The ideal candidate shall possess the following:

Above average proficiency in MS Office Windows applications
Bachelors degree is preferred but a combination of education and experience will be considered
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Graphics experience is a plus
Excellent oral and written communication
Ability to interface effectively within all levels of the organization
Initiative and strong organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to create and use reports, data and tools to identify areas for improvement.
