Drawing on its reputation for providing deep industry expertise and speciality services in Financial Services Insurance, Ernst Young is currently expanding its Performance Improvement practice.
We are looking to recruit individuals with deep financial services knowledge with an industry specialisation within insurance. We expect industry developments across the wider insurance market including Solvency II, the Retail Distribution Review and market consolidation to reshape the agenda for insurers.
Additionally, we anticipate other insurer challenges, including the delivery of profitable growth targets, customer connectivity, cost and claims management will lead to a continued increase in the demand for our advisory services, spanning both front and back office areas.
Your responsibilities as an Operations Customer Advisory professional will include:
- Working within our Performance Improvement Insurance team, consulting with our Top Tier
insurance clients and working on various projects focused on operations and customer performance improvement strategies.
- Developing and implementing industry leading performance improvement solutions through the following;
*Front and back office functions and processes
*Operational improvement through technology (operating model design, process improvement, applications and technology platforms, business requirements definition)
*Revenue enhancement/distribution strategy experience (market assessment, opportunity identification, channel dynamics, business planning).
Qualifications/skills you'll need as an Operations Customer Advisory professional:
- Significant experience with a graduate scheme or development program with a recognised
insurance provider or consulting firm
- Strong track record in project delivery
- Commitment to deliver exceptional client service
- Solid understanding of the insurance value chain (distribution to administration)
- Ability to understand complex problems and deliver workable solutions
- High level written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to travel to, and work in, other locations is essential.
