Operations Developer (.net, SQL) – Leading Algo Hedge Fund recruitment
We seek a VB.NET/SQL developer to join a team building business critical applications for our Operations and Finance functions.
Minimum Requirements:
• Solid experience with SQL programming and SQL Server 2005/2008
• Strong 3.5/4.0 .NET programming skills (VB Preferred), WinForms
• Strong communication skills
Desirable experience:
• UI development using WPF or DevExpress
• SQL XML queries, XSLT transformations
• Development and support of SSIS/ETL solutions
• Service orientated architecture development
• Rapid prototyping and AGILE development
• Good understanding of equity and derivatives markets
Areas of development to include:
• Operational blotter for trade monitoring and position management
• Reconciliation and Corporate Action platforms
• Core position keeping and accounting system
• Fund Accounting platform
• Inbound Outbound STP of data files, external connectivity via FTP, SFTP FTPS
• Internal performance analysis and reporting
• Integration with Trading and Risk groups
