A fantastic opportunity now exists to join this market leading designer and manufacturer of displays who are currently experiencing a period of significant growth.
In this senior role you will report to the CEO and form part of the Senior Management team to set and drive the strategic direction of the company. You should bring skills needed to continuously challenge and improve business performance and business processes whilst maintaining the highest levels of quality and client delivery.
Responsibilities include continuous improvements in profitability, service levels, safety and environmental performance, whilst seeking innovative solutions and opportunities that will enable the business to grow. Whilst providing leadership, motivation and coaching to your managers and their key staff, you will also be responsible for all elements of the manufacturing process, including new production, introduction and prototyping, production, warehousing and logistics and installations. You will be expected to develop and maintain an operations plan to include all program requirements, labour hours, process, and production costs. Health Safety at all facilities and the requirements for working on clients sites also fall under your remit. You will also have to provide guidance to the development of a manufacturing process plan, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and equipment needs.
To apply you should possess experience in an Operational Director/Management role in a bespoke turnkey operation and be used to project driven manufacturing and a multi-site operation, along with being well versed in operations/project management and relevant methodologies. You will possess a detailed understanding of the full life cycle of projects and experience of managing multiple and varied programmes. You should also be a leader with gravitas and have gained experience in a design or project led industry such as exhibitions, displays, shopfitting, events, construction etc.
