Operations Director recruitment
Global Financial Services organisation with offices in key financial centres across four continents, this key management appointment is integral to the groups commitment to build on their current client service delivery regionally, whilst maintaining tight management control.
Reporting overseas into the Global Head of Operations, you will be responsible for Operations across Australia and also contribute to the Group's overall business strategy and direction. Specifically you will provide direction for service delivery, ensure operational efficiency and manage deliverables of off shored teams and individuals. In addition you will contribute to global best practice and offer input in to product strategy and sales.
With relevance to actual qualifications your fifteen years plus operational management experience has been gained in Funds/Asset Management and/or Custody. Whatever your background specifically this must demonstrate:
- Extensive operations management experience ideally across Fund Accounting and Investment Operations
- Clear leadership to drive a business to the next level whilst 'maintaining brilliance' from an operational perspective
- Sound knowledge of the Australian regulatory environment/understanding of Australian Fund/Trust legal structure
- Complex people management skills ideally have managed large staff numbers in a matrix structure
- The ability to represent the firm at Industry Associations/Conferences
- 'C' level dialogue across the industry
