Job ID: HCS01121011 Operations Engineer Support - Hines, IL - HCS01121011 Description: Operations Engineer Support Hines, IL HCS01121011 Job Description: * The candidate will provide Tier 2 level technical support to the users of the VA claim management system. * The candidate must be able to troubleshoot and resolve problems related to daily system maintenance and operations. * The candidate will need to be able to create automation scripts and reports for batch feed processing. * Additionally, the candidate will need to collaborate with business SME's and developers to assist in the definition of requirements and processes as well as realize opportunities for business process improvement * The candidate will need to support custom applications doing data transfer and insertion into Oracle DB?s and Filenet systems via HPII (Filenet direct transfers). * The candidate will need to be able to backup, manage and restore Oracle database tables and create PL/SQL to support corrections, insertions and adjustments to the DB as needed. * The candidate will need to support the document conversion process using COTS and Custom conversion tools to package, un-package, and convert various document types to PDF, including the batch management control files in CSV or other formats Qualifications: * 2 or more years experience with SQL, VB Script, MS Access, Visio, Oracle, * 2 or more years experience with version control software: Dimensions a plus. * 2 or more years experience with testing and trouble shooting methods on batch feed issues. * Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required * 2 or more years experience with FTP/SFTP/ and other IP protocols for file transfer. * 2 or more years strong system admin experience with MS OS operations including Active Directory, the Windows Registry, and configuration of Device Drivers and RAID Drivers * 2 or more years experience with MS IIS and web application operations and support. * As the position is a senior lead Tier 2 position, occasional oncall /system down response may be required; Preferred Additional Skills: * The candidate must possess good analytical skills. * The candidate must possess advanced systems analysis skills including DBA skills. * The candidate must have the ability to document new and existing business process. * Familiarity with FileNet, ActivePDF software systems. * Some understanding of web design.
