Operations Executive (1 year contract)
The Company
Our client is a leading commodities firm and they have a presence in over 40 countries. They are currently looking for an Operations Executive to join their team for a period of 12 months.
The Role
As an Operations Executive, you will be responsible for the issuance of contracts, coordinate and monitor shipment planning, check for accuracy for incoming Letters of Credit (LC) and liaise with buyers for amendments if required. You will need to ensure accurate timely submissions of shipping documents to the bank for LC Negotiation and documentary collection. You will need to maintain records, chase for overdue accounts and ensure prompt receipt of payments.
Your Profile
You should possess A Levels or Diploma in Shipping/Banking and Finance. You should have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a commodity execution capacity. Good knowledge of Incoterms, UCP 600 and URC 522 is required for this role. The ideal candidate will need to possess good communication and interpersonal skills. Fresh graduates with International Trade majors are welcomed to apply.
