Operations & Finance Assistant- Hedge Fund recruitment
The Company
Our client is a solid hedge fund organization looking to hire an Ops and Finance Assistant. This is a great chance to join an established organization that rewards your talent with recognition in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
With a dual reporting line into operations and finance, your time will be split handling operational responsibilities including reconciliations, trade booking and settlement issues. Furthermore, you will assist the finance manager in NAV calculation, corporate accounting and setting up of new products or new markets. Management and financial reporting, budgeting and cost control and cash flow management for the group companies will also be a part of your responsibilites.
Your Profile
- Degree holder in related field of work.
- 4-7 years experience in a financial institution or hedge fund.
- F.I. Audit experience an advantage
- Proficient Excel skills (V-lookups, macros, pivot tables)
- Knowledge of international markets, corporate actions and good understanding of financial products.
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask
- English and Cantonese/Chinese is essential for this role
