Position Description:
Position entails supporting Firmwide Operations Reporting. Includes key participation in budgeting/forecasting, aspects of the monthly close/reporting and calculation of the entry and exit rate. Involves strong partnership with Business Managers, Support Services Controllers, MSSB Ops and IM Ops Controllers, HR, and Location Strategy Team. Includes review and oversight over monthly reporting and accruals prepared by Budapest offshore 'supplier'. Responsible for preparing high level presentations for senior management and performing analysis to explain variances between prior periods and budgets/forecasts. The position also includes ongoing analysis of our business processes and work with Finance and Operations groups to improve efficiency and output quality. Management of Associate in NY.

- Problem Solver with strong ability to connect concepts in complex, matrixed environment - Analytical/Prober - Experience in budgeting/forecasting/reporting a big plus - Strong technical ability (vlookups, pivots, access, macros) and comfortable with large data sets - Strong attention to detail - Control mindset/ documentation skills - Strong communicator and experience servicing clients - Familiarity with accruals and reconciliations a plus - Penchant for fast paced environment; ability to multitask and be flexible - Success in coaching and developing junior staff - 5+ years experience
