The Role
Managing internal and external relationships
Liaise with relationship managers and other teams to build an understanding of the investment process
Reporting monthly MI to the Senior Management Team
Agreeing operational SLAs
Planning effective resource allocation
Approve payments up to authorised limits
Drive the review of existing systems and processes, suggesting improvements
Communicate product information to the wider business including updating the intranet
Document and manage product procedures
Assist in daily cash and monthly stock reconciliation for assigned products
Quality assurance and regulatory oversight of:
Quality checking and signing off colleagues’ work
Setting up clients in line with KYC AML regulations
Dealing with ad hoc requests from clients and IFAs with particular emphasis on TCF
Processing registration withdrawal instructions
Logging errors and breaches in line with FSA guidelines
Escalate issues via appropriate channels where necessary
People Management -
Supporting team members and driving their personal development through:
- Weekly progress and development meetings
- Monthly review of targets and objectives
- Planning for growth and ongoing change
Setting tangible objectives and targets for direct reports
Manage resource effectively and plan for demanding business periods

Bachelor’s degree is preferred (not essential) and further studies within a relevant area would considered an advantage
Experience in a similar leadership role within the financial services industry
IAQ or IMC studies preferred (to be completed within first year in the role)
