Operations Manager – Paris – Shipping, Senior, Vessels, Handysize recruitment
Pre requisites:
-Must have a minimum of 5 years experience within the shipping sector as an operator of vessels
-Preferably your exposure lies within the handy-size vessels sector
- Must have a good knowledge of the issues associated with the commercial aspect of voyage and time charter parties
-Analytical mind
-Must be an exceptionally keen team player with good communication skills
-Must have a good knowledge of Softmar, Word and Excel
Job Description Responsibilities:
-Management of the vessels’ voyage
-Ensure all time-sheets and freight invoices are filled in and any issues in regards to this are dealt with
-Lead the sector/team and ensure any issues or difficulties the more junior operators and other professionals get into are dealt with effectively and efficiently
-Ensure all commercial documents are dispatched in a timely and orderly fashion
-Input of data into Softmar
Languages: Must have a very good level of the English language, a working knowledge of the French language is a bonus but it not essential
Location: The role will be located in France; you must be willing to relocate here
