Operations Manager – Public Fund Issuance recruitment
Our client is a PRC investment bank who is one of the operator of RQFII
The job:
- Coordinate operational efforts and work closely with various business lines such as Marketing/Trading, Compliance/Audit, and Technology to ensure operational compliance quality infrastructure processing;
- Liaise and coordinate with external parties on settlement, corporate actions, coupon claims, fund launch and securities account opening related matters;
- Involve in the review of (public) funds’ offering documents;
- Involve in Middle Office Settlement functions to ensure all day to day procedures are followed all deadlines are met;
- Responsible for enhancing and streamlining departmental operational procedures with an aim for Operating Efficiencies Cost Reduction;
- Responsible for ensuring Operations Departmental procedures are regularly maintained and updated;
- Perform any other operational duties as assigned
The requirements:
- Degree holder in business discipline, preferably in accounting or finance;
- Experienced in the supportive role for issuance of public fund
- 7 years relevant experience of middle/back office operations in asset management, institutional banking, custodian banking, and / or fund administration industry, multi-tasking while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency;
- Strong Cross product knowledge, familiar with securities settlement systems and practices, local regulatory and compliance requirements;
- Excellent command of English and Putonghua.
