Operations Manager
Headcount Solutions is presently assisting a leading Medical Devices manufacturer in the recruitment of a new Technical Operations Manager. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager this is a highly strategic position, providing leadership to the technical operations personnel involved in automation systems, automated assembly process reliability and value stream product engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide functional and technical mentoring to automation technicians, process and product engineers
- Deliver direction to process engineers ensuring equipment effectiveness
- Development and execution of plant automation strategies
- Apply and support lean manufacturing principles
- Provide leadership and delivery of process improvements
Requirements:
- Relevant Engineering qualification
- 7 years plus experience within a similar medical device environment
- high level knowledge of automated assembly engineering, automated systems and product engineering
- Ability to drive a technical operations team
