Operations Manager- Fund Administration recruitment
The Business
Our client provides specialist fund administration, share registrar, corporate secretarial services and directors to funds and collective investment schemes. The candidate caters to equity funds, hedge funds, funds of funds and private equity funds in every sector and market across the globe.
The Role
• Report directly to the managing director on the day to day control environment within the company
• Ensure business unit operates effectively within company standards and procedures
• Ensure all deliverables are met on a timely and accurate basis
• Maintain a controlled operating environment in conjunction with SAS 70 controls laid down for the company
• Involvement in all aspects of the company such as supervisory functions, training and recruitment of staff and monitoring of client service standards
• Ad hoc projects
• Reviewing Net Asset Value calculations
• New business implementation
• Supervision of the accounting and budgeting for the company
The Skills
• a professional designation such as C.A., C.P.A., C.G.A., C.F.A., A.C.C.A,
• In excess of 6 years experience in the Fund Administration industry and 3-5 years in a Senior Management role
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Experience in the all-around process of fund administration including: Calculation of NAV, Pricing, Processing of Corporate Actions, Calculation of performance fees, Shareholder Services, AML and KYC verifications
