Operations Manager
The future employee will be based in Zurich and will supervise the work of a small team. Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible personality, capable of guaranteeing the perfect execution of operations in a very fast-paced international environment.
Duties and responsibilities
- The successful candidate will take ownership of all processes related to the execution of investments/projects and ensure an efficient and effective workflow, while enabling an excellent service to the clients;
- He/she will supervise settlements between various counterparts and oversee reconciliations processes (including daily reconciliations and cash balance checks);
- Supervise fund subscriptions, redemptions, transfers and cash flows;
- Perform funds’ analysis and reporting, ensuring availability of information to relevant internal stakeholders;
- Take care of the back office of the custodians and maintains relationships with the custodians;
- Report to clients on a regular basis upon on-going projects.
Skills and specifications
- The ideal candidate has at least 3 years’ experience in operations from an asset management company, ideally with direct contacts with clients and counterparts
- University degree in finance (or similar)
- A throughout knowledge of all aspects of the services provided by an asset management company
- Extremely detail-oriented personality, ability to work under pressure within tight timelines
- Team player used to work in an international environment
- Independent working style, capable of taking responsibilities
- Fluency in English (oral and written); good knowledge of German is a welcomed asset; knowledge of Portuguese an ideal feature.
